Qualifications for Vestry: Under our parish by-laws, to be considered for the Vestry, an individual must be a confirmed adult member of the congregation and make a financial pledge for the next calendar year. Also, an outgoing vestry member who has served a full term is not eligible for one year following the completion of that term, and only one member of a household may serve at any given time.
1 Diocesan Convention Delegate for 4 year term
Qualifications for Convention Delegate: Under our parish by-laws, to be considered for Diocesan Convention Delegate, an individual must be a confirmed adult member of the congregation. In addition, an outgoing delegate who has served a full term is not eligible to serve as delegate for one year following the completion of that term.

Tim Henry, Vestry Nominee
I grew up in a Saint Andrew’s Episcopal church in rural Kansas, so the name of Saint Andrew’s has always been a warm spot in my heart. My wife, Cindy, and I joined the church in 2010. I am retired from Fluor Corporation where I worked as a Project Manager. I have always felt at ease with the size, location, and especially the people, of Saint Andrew’s. I have served in Feed Thy Neighbor for many years. I have served the 8:30 AM service as subdeacon (server) for over 10 years. I look forward to working with the vestry to help us prosper in the present and prepare for the future.
Mitchell Saum, Vestry Nominee
Mitchell Saum grew up in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese. He and his wife, Emily, live in Greenville with their three young children, Quinn, Ren and Mitchell Jr. Mitchell runs Immilink Migration Services, where he helps families build new lives in the United States through employment-based green cards. When he isn't working, he loves spending time with his family. He is honored to serve on the vestry and looks forward to getting to know more of the parish family.
Patty Slay, Vestry Nominee
I have been a member of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church since 1984. Work history: Greenville Hospital System (1968 -1987), MUSC Hospital, Charleston – (1987 – 1990), Providence Hospital in Columbia (1990 – 1998), retired from healthcare (1999), and became Manager of Riverbend Equestrian Center until 2009. I did not transfer my membership while living in Charleston and Columbia because I never found a church like Saint Andrew’s. I now own a small catering company, SHE SMOKES (since I started out just doing BBQ) but I’m currently mostly doing dog sitting and some catering for friends and the Parish. My purposes/aspirations in life? Stay busy and be there for my church. Do good when I can, and don't let things over which I have no control upset me. Cheer the Lady Gamecocks to victory, and Carpe Diem!!
Gregg Welborn, Diocesan Convention Delegate
Gregg Welborn was born and raised in Greenville, S.C. He graduated from Carolina High School and earned a Journalism degree and a Masters in Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina. He is married to Tracey Welborn.
Gregg worked for Sonoco Products Company in Hartsville, S.C. for 37 years in various sales and supply chain management roles. He served the community there as a Rotarian, Main Street and Downtown Development president, Design Review Board chairman and downtown business recruitment lead. In 2018 Gregg and Tracey retired and moved back home to Greenville. They have been members at Saint Andrew’s for 6 years.
Gregg grew up in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Greenville. He was confirmed as an Episcopalian at Hartsville’s Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church. At St. Bart’s Gregg sang in the church choir, served on vestry, was Junior Warden, church treasurer, and attended multiple conventions as a delegate.
